The Centre for Languages and Intercultural Communication (CLIC)

 

is a structure within the Faculty of Philology of Plovdiv University set up to promote effective language learning and intercultural communication. Founded by a small team of local and national experts, it provides high-quality services based on research into language, culture, and communication.

CLIC plays an active part in the academic life of the Faculty. As a result of Center’s activities new Master Programs were launched in 2005/2006:

The CLIC Public Services

Courses in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish are provided within the Center, as well examination sessions in all languages, depending on clients’ needs.

The Certificate of Achievement issued upon the successful course completion is recognized as Attachment to the Diploma of Higher Education for the students of Plovdiv University

 

Ongoing Projects:

Presenting Myself: Communicating Interculturally In cooperation with Aha Moments, Centre for Intercultural Learning, Education one-day workshop for the students at the University of Plovdiv who are preparing to take part in international exchange programmes (Erasmus, Ceepus, etc).

CLIC provides intercultural orientation to international teachers and students: to Bulgarian teachers and students, planning to study abroad, as well as to students from abroad, studying in the Faculty of Philology of Plovdiv University.
